Confession time. I started Tristram Shandy and put it down almost immediately. I was exhausted only a few pages into reading The Sellout. Some are laugh-out-loud; others are wry or even bitter. Some are realistic; others are fantastically fantastical.
Sometimes work gets too serious. When that happens for me, I like to turn to some light reading, especially books that make me laugh. Over the years, I've collected a number of favorites, hence this post. This is one of the few business books that's worth reading multiple times. The section on graphic arts is hilarious to anyone who's worked in a marketing group.
