A Robins Amongst the Pigeons by John RobinsLong Walk To Freedom, Angelas Ashes, the Barak Obama one - what do all these memoirs have in common? Yes, thats right, ZERO ROBINS. These books became bestsellers without one reference to the highs and successes of comedian, broadcaster, darts genius, poetic tour de force and voice over artiste John Robins (contact agent for bookings). Imagine, then, the potential for an autobiography penned by the man himself. After being turned down by all leading publishers because they didnt have the infrastructure to cope with a book of this magnitude, Robins has made it available himself. Ride the roller coaster of drugs, darkness and Daewoos in this literary cry de cour. And place yourself amongst A Robins Amongst The Pigeons. (Forward inspired by David Mellor)

This week Elis and John asked for your tales of sending texts and emails to the wrong people, and you did not disappoint. I can't see who it is At last, confirmation that the man who has sat to my left for the past 50 weeks is the real Elis James. Elis got a 'verified' blue tick on Twitter before John, but John is fine with it because it means Elis has kowtowed to the man whereas John is still free to say 'bum' on air. John goes through his repertoire of camp noises. Elis really likes Louise Wener's book about the 90s. Want to hear more gentle mocking of Elis' sitcom 'Crims' not 'Crimes'?

I'd been going for about four months, and like a lot of very new acts had generally had OK experiences in pubs with mates in etc. So I put on my lucky suit jacket, reminded myself how great I was, waited to be announced, and then walked onstage to a cheer making a gesture with my hands, a kind of arms outstretched, 'give it a bit more guys, I'm the best!, Player FM is scanning the web for high-quality podcasts for you to enjoy right now.
Elis stood John up to empty his memory box including two bagged beards while John got sentimental over old pay slips begging the question: what strange paraphernalia have you kept over the years? Elis discusses the cool 'vibes' of Hackney and John puts his Traffic Cops knowledge to use by advising listeners to not drink and babysit. Camarthen listener wants his friend to be more like himself and to stop imitating Elis. Fan from Mississippi brings on Elis' southern state impression and acceptability comparisons between Thornbury and the US. Listener educates us all on the winking method of reaching the bathroom in the night. Elis' memory box.
