Robert Kirkman Quotes (Author of The Walking Dead, Vol. 1)
The Walking Dead reviews for season 10 premiere are in – and they're full of praise
It is the sixty-first episode of the series overall. It premiered on February 15, It was written by Heather Bellson and directed by Julius Ramsay. Life on the road has left the group beaten and beleaguered. Will they be able to trudge along? Are they even the same people they once were?
It's the first season not to feature Andrew Lincoln and Lauren Cohan in regular roles and sadly it's also the last for Danai Gurira Michonne. But despite the upheaval and it now being on the air for nearly a decade, it seems like the show hasn't lost any of its spark.

It was originally published on November 24, Rick finally reawakens after 26 hours of being unconscious.
Season 10 of "The Walking Dead" starts off unlike any other season of the show. After nine years in the zombie apocalypse, that's exactly what the series needs if it wants to keep moving full steam ahead as AMC is ready to continue expanding the "Walking Dead" universe. Insider reviewed the first three episodes of the zombie drama's new season, which returns to AMC on Sunday, October 6 at 9 p. While the first episode of the season isn't the best premiere we've ever watched, it is one that will probably make you emotional at least twice. If you're not thoroughly impressed with the first episode, you're going to want to stick around because episodes two and three just get better and better. If you've been missing Cyndie Sydney Park , who hasn't been seen on the show since season nine, episode five, she's back too with a new look. That's a lot of names to see on one episode, but they're all juggled very well throughout the first episode because of showrunner Angela Kang, who wrote the season premiere.
This episode is the first not to have Andrew Lincoln credited in the main cast billing as Rick Grimes and the first not to have Lauren Cohan Maggie Greene credited since season 2. This episode marks the first appearance of The Whisperers, a prominent antagonistic group featured in the comics following the defeat of Negan and the Saviors. Michonne narrates over scenes of the survivors continuing to rebuild their various communities and struggling to survive, six years after Rick Grimes' apparent death. Judith leads Magna's group to Aaron , Eugene , Laura and Rosita , who are hesitant about protecting them, but Judith insists. They travel to Alexandria, just as Michonne returns from a scavenging run. Michonne sizes them up and knows that Judith did not follow the proper procedure for bringing new survivors in, but agrees to let them stay overnight and to hear their case the following morning in front of their council which includes former high-ranking Savior Laura, now a trusted member of the community.
